Life is lived better together.
By walking through life with others, we build invaluable bonds and can find and give support and encouragement to those close to us. Even Jesus had twelve friends He kept with Him throughout His ministry!
When you're tired, overwhelmed, discouraged, or frustrated, or alternately awed, jubilant, content, and uplifted, there are others who are there to pick you up or celebrate right along with you. There are friends around who can relate to what you're experiencing; they "get it."
Here at CrossRoads, we want every member of our church family to experience life this way. To this end, we have LifeGroups - groups of 8-12 people who intentionally meet together for prayer, fellowship, study, and encouragement. Some LifeGroups are topical: we have had study groups that met for 8 weeks to take an in-depth look at a book of the Bible such as Acts or Romans. We also have groups that work through a specific study or book, such as "Alpha" or "Disciple." These short-term study groups are great if you want to learn more about a topic or book or just want to make a short-term committment. On the other hand, some groups meet for many months and become close friends, sharing life stories, meals, and laughter together while they discuss spiritual topics, such as that week's worship message.
If you'd like to join a LifeGroup and experience this close level of community, please email us at CRChurchWestfield@gmail.com and we'll connect you to the right people.
